Villepin: France Faces 'Moment of Truth'

Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin said Tuesday that France faces a "moment of truth" in fighting racial discrimination that has inflamed tempers in suburbs with large immigrant populations...

Ohh don't worry, Mr. Prime Minister, you don't really need to face that moment of truth. Or actually do anything to address the larger issues that caused this unrest. We didn't. Just have a big fancy photo-up speech on top of a burning car and pay lip service to the problems, like our President did in September. If you're lucky like he was, you'll be enveloped by even more scandals and everyone will forget about these powerful images we're seeing on TV!
