Weekend Video Theatre: Why We Fight

This week, the war in Iraq will enter its sixth year with-- say it with me-- no end in sight.

With that in mind, I wanted to post the complete video for the 2005 documentary, 'Why We Fight'. It starts off with President Eisenhower's warning in his farewell address that the post-WWII military buildup in the U.S. was beginning to have grave consequences for our democracy, and then traces U.S. foreign policy from that area to the war in Iraq today with that narrative in mind.
