He debates withdrawal, ultimately deciding that the arguments in favor of it far outweigh the arguments against. He concludes, "There is no getting around this, I'm afraid. It is reality. And if we do not get out by June, I fear an even worse one."

I fear that by June, we will still in a political holding pattern.
